Simple origami flowers for cards, clothes,
cushions, bags etc...
1- to begin with, you need 2
circles of contrasting fabrics, mine were around 10cm in diameter
- sewn together right sides together then turned inside out
and pressed into a circle |
2- Mark the center of the circle
and fold one quarter and sew in place in the middle |
3- Carry on with the other side,
then the last two quarters |
4- Open the corners to form a
flower |
5- This is the tricky part :
carefully press each corner (with your finger is enough) to
mark it then turn it inside out ( it will feel strange, but
just go for it) -and sew in place : |

front back
Do the same for all the other
corners |
6- You can use the flowers to
decorate your clothes, handbags, wall hangings, cards etc.
